·                League will be affiliated to SCPA and the Delegates are Tony/Jamie Latham.

·                TD has the right to refuse any player they wish.

·                Any matter arising from the league will be discussed between Chairman and Secretary and player/s informed of decision which is ‘final’.

·                The committee reserve the right to add/amend rules throughout the season and will do what is ‘right’ for the league.

Events

The league will consist of the following events;

·                League phase (circa 30 fixtures)

·                Bottom Half KO

·                TT Cup (Handicapped FA Cup style competition)

Basic Rules

·                International Rules to be played

·                30 mins free play is allowed before the match (anything further would need to be paid for)

·                Matches to be played over 14 frames or until one player reaches EIGHT (8) for Prem/Div1 or SEVEN (7) for Div2

·                ‘Lag’ for first break then alternate.

·                2 points for a win and 1 point for a draw

·                Players must download and use Rack Em App

·                All matches to be played at Plaza Snooker & Pool Club

·                There will be no set date/time to play the match, and all matches will need to be arranged amongst yourselves (please see below for club preferred times)

·                Each fixture will have a week commencing date (this is just a guide), you will be required to play your block of 5 fixtures in a 6 week period.

·                Matches will be scheduled for 5 weeks running with a ‘free’ week added on the 6th week. This is a catch-up week and your chance to play any outstanding fixtures.

·                Close of play for each round of fixtures is midnight on the Sunday of the 6th week.

·                If a player is 15 minutes late, he/she will be ‘docked’ a frame plus one frame every 5 minutes

·                (unless agreed acceptable by opponent).

·                If your opponent is over 30 minutes late then the match can be claimed (8-0/7-0 depending on division)

·                Failure to play or turn up for a match will result in a penalty (please see fees section)

Match Dates/Times

·                No matches to be ongoing after 6pm on a Tuesday night, the club is simply too busy with 7 teams.

·                Very little availability on a Friday night, we can accommodate odd games but one to try and avoid.

·                Players are asked to book a table for matches to make sure the game can go ahead on your agreed date and time

·                Please ring the club to book and not text the owner

·                Booking in the app does not book in with the club

Schedule

·                Matches 1-5 Must be played on or before Sunday April 19th

·                Matches 6-10 Must be played on or before Sunday May 31st

·                Matches 11-15 Must be played on or before Sunday July 12th

·                Matches 16-20 Must be played on or before Sunday August 23rd

·                Matches 21-25 Must be played on or before Sunday October 4th

·                Matches 26-30 Must be played on or before Sunday November 15th

TT Cup

·                Handicaps will be issued by the committee and based on ability of the player and not what division they play in

·                All handicaps are final and not up for debate

·                Handicaps will not be altered between rounds and will exist from start to finish of the event

·                All matches will be scheduled throughout the season and deadline dates given

·                General league rules/fines apply on no shows and matches not arranged by the deadline

Fees/Fines

Premier League Entry: £175

Division 1 Entry: £150

Division 2 Entry: £125

• Payment Schedules as follows:

·       First Instalment: Before plays starts: £50 deposit

• Second Instalment: By midnight on Sunday 19th April: £50 instalment
• Final Instalment: By midnight Sunday 31st May: £75 Prem, £50 Div 1, £25 Div 2
• Failure to make an instalment on time results in a £10 fine.
• Failure to make payment within 1 week of missing the deadline results in a second £10 fine.
• Failure to make payment within 2 weeks of the deadline results in suspension of the player until matter resolved
• Any monies owed and not collected will result in that player being reported to the SCPA
• Payment of registration deems players agreeing to league rules
• If a player drops out following registration, then they are deemed to have entered and must pay the full match fee or be reported to SCPA and automatically excluded from the following ‘season’.
• Failure to turn up for a match which has been arranged will result in a £10 fine.
• Failure to play all 5 fixtures in each ‘block’ will result in a £10 fine. This will apply to each player unless one player has made efforts to arrange the game. If appealing a fine all evidence to be sent to the Chaiman Adam Davis.
• Failure to play the outstanding fixture within 2 weeks of the deadline day will result in another £10 fine. This will continue fortnightly until fixture is played.

Miscellaneous Items

·       If players finish level on points at the end of the season, then it will go on frame difference, head-to-head and then matches won.

·       If a player drops out of the league, then all their results will be voided and removed unless completed one half of the season then the first half of the season results will stand but any after this will be removed

·       A player must give a mobile number that can be displayed on the website

Etiquette

·       We ask for sportsmanship and a will ‘to play pool ‘attitude.

·       One five-minute cigarette break allowed following frame 7

·       Numerous ‘tactical’ toilet breaks outside the spirit of the game are also not permitted

Prize Money

·       The prize money will be split to the top 8 of each league or otherwise decided following entries by the TD.

·       The players outside top 8 will play be invited to the bottom half KO on a date/time set by the committee (no more than three weeks after end of season).

·       Prize money to be announced once all league entry fees are collected
